Campus

Campus is the Danish state sector’s unified learning solution designed to make competence development within the state sector more effective, focused and strategically-oriented.

Effective by designing a wide range of e-learning courses to support and develop existing competencies within the state sector.

Focused by making it possible to assign courses and learning activities to specific target groups and to follow up on individual employee development.

Strategically-oriented by providing the tools for local HR-departments to plan competence development and to follow up with management information which provides overview and insight.

What does Campus offer?

Campus provides both a unified e-learning solution and a Learning Management System (LMS) 

E-learning

A wide range of e-learning courses are offered to a broad segment of state employees and include topics such as an introduction to employment within the state, conflict management, and communication. The e-learning opportunities are developed by the The State Employer's Authority in close cooperation with other state institutions.

LMS

The technical platform is a learning management system (LMS) that supports and manages all kinds of learning activities, including, but not limited to e-learning courses. The LMS is web-based and serves as a portal for all kinds of learning and competence development among state organisations’ employees. The LMS Campus is based on is a standard system, developed by Saba.


 

Who is Campus for?

Campus is available to the entire state sector including all ministries and government agencies as well as the military and police force. At present, Campus is not available for self-governing institutions including those within the higher education sector.

Who is behind Campus?

The Campus project is managed by The Agency for the Modernisation of Public Administration (Moderniseringsstyrelsen). The institution is a part of The Danish Ministry of Finance.

The project is led by a governing committee under The Danish Ministry of Finance, and users are involved through a board of users.
